40TH RUBY ANNIVERSARY & 50TH GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY
So much more than just a card
The design for these 40th & 50th Wedding Anniversary cards is based on the idea of an embroidered sampler.
Samplers have been made for more than 500 years. They were created using a variety of embroidery stitches.
During the 1800s & 1900s, samplers often included the alphabet, flowers, a house and a verse or saying.

Each of these personalised Wedding Anniversary cards has the couple's first names or 'Mum & Dad' 'Mam & Dad' etc. printed on the front of the card (where 'Elizabeth & William' are printed in the examples below).
Also printed on the front are the words, 'Ruby Wedding Anniversary' or 'Golden Wedding Anniversary' & 'Bless This Home.
On the left-hand side of the card's inner leaves, we print 'Your Wedding Day' followed by the date they were married.
If it is your anniversary and the card is for your spouse, we print 'Our Wedding Day' followed by the date you were married.
On the right-hand side of the inner leaves, we print your personal message of congratulations in a silver-coloured (Ruby Anniversary) or gold-coloured (Golden Anniversary) script font.

Each card is approximately 14 x 14 cm. The card can be sent to you (we include a plain white envelope in the outer envelope) OR direct to the recipient.
